Display Screen Equipment Risk Assessment Training
This course has been designed to give delegates the skills and knowledge to competently carry out a Display Screen Equipment (DSE) risk assessment as required by the Health and Safety (DSE) Regulations 1992 and be able to identify common hazards and unsafe practices associated with DSE use.
On completion of this course candidates will have an understanding of:-
- The legal requirements for working with DSE
- The health risks associated with the use of DSE
- What is meant by a DSE ‘user’ and how to determine which individuals are ‘users’?
- The minimum requirements for a DSE workstation
- The correct posture and how to adjust the workstation for comfort and health
- DSE user entitlements under law
