IOSH Managing Safely Training

 

Course Overview:

IOSH Managing Safely is a training course that provides managers with the knowledge and skills to apply their health & safety knowledge in the workplace. You will learn about various occupational health & safety topics and how to use that knowledge in the workplace.

Course / Session Duration:

This course consists of a total of 22 hours over 3 days. Flexible delivery options are available, and you can split the days over a few weeks. This course can be delivered online or as a traditional face-to-face tutor led session on your own site or venue.

 

Learning Outcomes:

After the session, delegates will be able to:

• Understand health and safety responsibilities in the workplace

• Recognise how to influence, control and monitor risk to improve health and safety in the workplace

• Understand the importance of managing safely

• Know the benefits of a health & safety management system

• Identify hazards and measure performance

Target Audience:

This course is targeted at those who manage others, risks, and resources.

Assessment Method:

An assessment will be given to delegates at the end of this course. Upon successful completion of this course and assessment, delegates will be issues with an IOSH Managing Safety certificate. A work-based risk assessment task is also to be completed within 2 weeks of the end of the course, to display full competence.
