Internal Audit Training

 

Course Overview:

This course develops the skills for delegates to assess and report on the conformance and effectiveness of organisational processes in relation to ISO 9001:2015. Delegates will learn how to initiate an audit, prepare, and conduct audit activities, compile and distribute audit reports and complete follow-up activities.

Course / Session Duration:

This is a one-day course. This course can be delivered online or as a traditional face-to-face tutor led session on your own site or venue.

Learning Outcomes:

• Introduction to quality management systems (QMS) auditing

• The attributes and role of an internal auditor

• Factors for determining audit frequency

• The internal audit process: preparation, including planning and writing checklists

• The internal audit process: audit performance, including interviewing techniques

• The internal audit process: audit reporting and follow-up, including closing meeting

Target Audience:

This course is designed for someone involved in the auditing, maintaining, or supervising of an ISO 9001:2015 QMS. All delegates will require a copy of the business internal QMS procedure as a pre-requisite.

Assessment Method:

Delegates will be assessed by observation and will be issued with important information at the close of the course. No written assessment required.  Delegates can be issued with a certificate.
