Asbestos Awareness Training

 

Course Overview:

This course provides delegates with the practical knowledge to ensure a safe working environment in which asbestos is handled and potentially exposed.

Course / Session Duration:

This is a one-day course, this course can be delivered online or as a traditional face-to-face tutor led session on your own site or venue.

• Understand the legislation associated with asbestos

• Recognise asbestos management

• Understand the construction health & safety plan / induction

• Identify why asbestos risk assessments are imperative

• Describe asbestos surveys and limitations

• Establish practical on understanding surveys

• Recognise risk management and control measures, including assessment algorithms

Asbestos awareness training is suitable for any individual who is at potential risk of being exposed or working with the dangerous minerals.

Assessment Method:

Course workbook provided to each delegate with important information. The demonstration of learning comes from participating in the exercises. Upon successful completion of this course certificates can be issued.
