CIEH Principles of COSHH

This course is aimed at those who are responsible for the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) at work, introducing candidates to the inherent risks in substances and the controls available. It is appropriate for all employees who use substances hazardous to health.

Course Content

Outcomes

On completion of this course candidates will be able to:

Successful completion will prepare employees to look carefully at their own work activities and contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances in co-operation with their managers and supervisors.

Duration and Certification

This is normally conducted as a half-day session with a multiple-choice examination at the end. Following successful completion candidates will be awarded a certificate from CIEH.
