Manual Handling Training This course is suitable for anyone who is required to undertake manual handling activities in the workplace. At the end of the course, delegates will be able to recognise the types and causes of injuries associated with manual handling activities in their workplace. The training will give delegates an appreciation of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 and the requirement for risk assessment and the identification of suitable controls. Delegates will also have knowledge of the correct techniques for the manual lifting and handling of objects in the workplace. Course Content
Duration This is normally conducted as a half-day session, however, it can be customised as a short 2 hour briefing session running throughout the day (Three 2-hour sessions).
