Depot Electrical Safety Training
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with an appreciation of their responsibilities under the Electricity at Work Regulations and the hazards of working with electricity in a railway maintenance depot environment.
By the end of the course, delegates will have an appreciation of :-
- The main requirements of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
- Sources of electricity in the working environment
- The hazards and effects of electricity
- The electrical hazards in a railway maintenance depot
- Their responsibilities for electrical safety in the workplace
