Course Outcomes
Delegates will understand the principles of internal Quality System auditing and be able to:
- Describe the responsibilities of the internal auditor and the role of internal audits in maintaining and improving quality management systems and delivering business benefits
- Describe the purpose and structure of ISO 9001 with reference to the PDCA cycle and the model of a process based quality management system
- Have the skills necessary to:
- Plan and prepare for an internal audit of part of a quality management system
- Gather objective evidence through interview and sampling of records
- Write factual audit reports that help to improve the effectiveness of the management system
- Identify ways in which the effectiveness of corrective actions might be verified
