New Strategy, new business
Local consultancy company QSS received a grant from DEGF back in 2015 to help them grow their business and saw them create six new jobs in the city. One of the roles created was for David Harris who has taken the role of Managing Director. Since David joined the company back in September, he has played a key role in building relationships with both new and old customers, whilst growing the products and services that the company offers.
Following a substantial piece of work to prepare a new Strategy Plan for QSS, the company has seen a 95% success rate on bids tendered. In recent months the company has won three out of four major contracts tendered for. Whilst the main focus of bids has been within the rail industry the company is beginning to work in other sectors. A recent contract saw the company support Heathrow Airport in attaining ISO50001 accreditation in energy management.
With a new look website, additions and development of the services provided QSS Group Ltd look set to go from strength to strength. With over 15 years of experience as a management consultancy company for the rail infrastructure industry and a vibrant team of staff in place, QSS are well placed to serve the whole of the UK, providing support in healthy and safety, risk management, emergency management, training and auditing, to name just a few of the services offered.
