Allan has been in the Railway industry for over 35 years and brings a wealth of experience of many areas of the industry to the job. Allan’s previous full time role was as Head of Rail Vehicle Engineering at Network Rail and he has also been involved in Plant, Depots, Asset Management, Investment Projects and Operations. As a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the I.Mech.E., and President of Derby Railway Engineering Society, Allan is a well respected member of the railway family and has a particular interest in the development of young people in the industry. Allan’s prime role will be the operation of the Group’s activities and developing the team so that it can deliver a wider range of professional services to our customers. Ken Mee, who has been Managing Director for the last 11 years will be standing down but remaining with the Group for the short term. Ken will be supporting Allan and building up the business development activity, thereby ensuring continued focus on delivering what our customers need.
